In her own artworks, as well as in the spatial installations and exhibitions she curates, Andrea Simon is supported by a large network that she has built up over many decades. Be it artist partners for her multidisciplinary series or congenial cooperation partners for exhibition planning, such as technicians, graphic designers, photographers, musicians, cultural managers, advisors and many more. The network also often determines what could happen and how and is a mirror of the ideas.
The origin of all the work, however, is the concept. Andrea Simon is solely responsible for developing this and presenting it to interested parties. In the subsequent realization, the artist and curator also works exclusively on her own. Site-specific concepts are developed as spatial installations. These spatial stagings have the character of an exhibition and are intended to be perceived as a sensory field of experience that can trigger in-depth reflection.
An important network that she founded is the TANZPLAN Community and the artmaintaunus network as co-founder. TANZPLAN is her first registered trademark since 2007, but founded already in 1990. artmaintaunus was founded in 2019.
